1. Preparation
Power off: Before cleaning, make sure that the paddle dryer is powered off to avoid accidents.
Cooling equipment: Wait until the equipment is completely cooled before operating.
2. External cleaning
Surface cleaning: Wipe the surface of the equipment with a clean damp cloth to remove dust, dirt and debris.
Gap cleaning: Use a thin brush or cotton swab to clean the gaps and corners of the equipment to ensure that there is no residue.
3. Internal cleaning
Open the manhole or discharge port: Open the manhole or discharge port of the equipment to enter the inside of the equipment for cleaning.
Clean the blades: Use a brush or rag to wipe off the dust and dirt on the blades. If the dirt is more serious, you can use a detergent to clean it, but pay attention to the amount of detergent used to avoid damage to the blades.
Clean the heat exchange tubes and walls: Check and clean the scale on the heat exchange tubes and walls. Scaling will reduce the heat transfer efficiency and affect the drying speed. It can be cleaned with an appropriate detergent or removed by mechanical scraping.
Clean other parts: Check and clean other parts inside the equipment, such as seals, transmission chains, etc., to ensure that the inside of the equipment is unobstructed.
4. Inspection and maintenance
Check the blades: Check the blades regularly for wear, deformation or breakage. Severely worn blades will affect the turning and drying effect of the material. If the blades are found to be slightly worn, they can be repaired by welding; if they are severely worn or broken, they need to be replaced in time.
Check the seals: Check the shaft seals and flange seals of the equipment to ensure that they are well sealed and leak-free. If the seals are found to be damaged, they should be replaced in time.
Lubrication and maintenance: Lubricate the moving parts of the equipment such as bearings and gears, select appropriate lubricants, and lubricate them according to the prescribed time and method.
5. Cleaning tools
Prepare tools: Cleaning tools include brushes, rags, vacuum cleaners, etc.
Use a vacuum cleaner: Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the outside and inside of the dryer to remove dust and dirt on the surface.
6. Precautions
Safe operation: During the cleaning process, pay attention to safety to avoid damaging the equipment or causing personal injury.
Regular maintenance: Regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment can effectively improve the operating efficiency and service life of the equipment.
