Continuous hollow blade paddle dryer is suitable for drying or cooling pasty, granular, powdery and pulpy materials. It carries out the processes of drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction and combustion at low temperature. Special stirring and heat transfer blades have high heat transfer efficiency and self-cleaning function.

Working principle

Hollow wedge vanes or wedge vanes are concentrated on a hollow shaft. The heating medium flows through the blades from the hollow shaft. The heat transfer area within the effective volume is very high.

The temperature range of the heating medium is -40°C to 320°C. The heat source can be steam or liquid, such as steam, heat transfer oil, etc.

Indirect heating, no air to carry away heat. All heat is used to dry the material, except for insulation losses. The wedge-shaped blade surface is self-cleaning.

The relative movement of the product particles to the surface of the wedge-shaped blade may clean the material attached to the blade surface, so the heat transfer surface is clean during operation.

The shell of the hollow paddle dryer is omega-shaped. The shell is usually equipped with 2 or 4 hollow stirring shafts. To avoid any leakage of material and dust, there are sealed terminal covers and top covers on the housing. The heat transfer medium flows through the rotary joint, the jacketed shell and the hollow stirring shaft.

The heat transfer medium passes through the rotary joint, through the shell jacket and the hollow shaft. The hollow mixing shaft has different internal structures according to the type of heat medium to ensure the best heat transfer effect.

Features

(1) Low energy consumption: no heat is taken away by the air due to indirect heat. The outer wall of the dryer is not insulated. It consumes 1.2kg of steam to evaporate 1kg of water for drying the slurry.

(8) Smooth operation: the wedge-shaped blade will produce special compression, expansion and stirring effects, and the material particles will fully contact the heat transfer surface in the axial section. The differences in temperature, humidity and mixing effect in different axial regions are very small, thus guaranteeing the stability of the process.
