What inspections should be done before the paddle dryer is put into operation?

1. Equipment appearance and component inspection
Check the integrity of the equipment: confirm whether the various components of the paddle dryer are intact, including the paddles, shafts, transmission devices, seals, heating systems, etc.
Check the connecting pipes: ensure that there is no leakage at all pipe connections, the valves are flexible and reliable, and the feed and discharge pipes are unobstructed.
Check the electrical system: check whether the electrical equipment such as motors, control cabinets, wires and cables are normal and whether the grounding is good.
2. Lubrication and transmission system inspection
Check the lubrication condition: confirm whether the lubricating oil of the reducer and transmission parts is sufficient, and add or replace the lubricating oil if necessary.
Check the transmission parts: manually turn the motor fan impeller to ensure that the paddle shaft rotates flexibly without jamming or abnormal friction.
3. Heating system inspection
Check the heating elements: confirm whether the heating elements (such as steam pipes, electric heating pipes) are working properly without blockage or damage.
Check the steam trap: ensure that the steam trap is working properly and without leakage.
4. Safety device inspection
Check safety devices: Ensure that all safety devices (such as safety valves, pressure gauges, and temperature sensors) are working properly without damage or malfunction.
Check grounding marks: Confirm that the equipment is well grounded and has obvious grounding marks.
5. Material and feeding system inspection
Check material preparation: Ensure that the materials to be dried meet the process requirements and no foreign matter is mixed in.
Check the feeding system: Confirm that the feed port is unobstructed, and the feed volume and feed speed meet the equipment requirements.
6. Trial run inspection
No-load trial run: Before formal operation, perform no-load trial run to check whether the vibration, noise, motor temperature rise, etc. of the equipment are normal.
Check heating effect: Pass heating medium (such as steam), check whether the heating plate and steam trap are leaking, and whether the temperature of each plate is uniform.
7. Environment and auxiliary equipment inspection
Check the operating environment: Ensure that the equipment is installed in a level, well-ventilated environment, and there are no flammable and explosive items around.
Check auxiliary equipment: Confirm that auxiliary equipment such as exhaust fans and cooling systems are working properly.
