One is to reduce the volume of sludge, that is, reduce the water content of sludge, create conditions for the transportation, digestion, dehydration and comprehensive utilization of sludge, and reduce the volume before sludge treatment;
The second is to sanitize and stabilize the sludge. The sludge contains a large amount of organic matter, various pathogens and other harmful substances (such as heavy metals). If it is not stabilized, it will become a secondary pollution source; cause environmental pollution and the spread of germs.
The third is to improve the composition and certain properties of the sludge through the treatment of the sludge dryer to facilitate the utilization of sludge resources. After the sludge is concentrated by the sludge dryer, the moisture content of the sludge is further reduced by physical methods, which is convenient for the transportation, accumulation, utilization or further treatment of the sludge. There are two types of dehydration (drying): natural evaporation and mechanical dehydration. Traditionally, the mechanical dewatering method is called sludge dewatering, and the natural evaporation method is called sludge drying. In short, the principles of sludge treatment are reduction, stabilization, harmlessness and resource utilization.
