Does the paddle dryer require regular cleaning?

Cleaning Cycle
1. Daily Cleaning: Before and after each start-up, clean dust and debris from the equipment surface, and keep it clean and well-ventilated.
2. Every 200 hours of operation: After shutdown, clean material scale from the paddle surfaces and inside the cylinder to prevent reduced heat transfer efficiency and blockage.
3. Quarterly: Check and tighten the reducer anchor bolts and coupling bolts to prevent loosening and vibration.
4. Semi-annually: Clean scale or deposits from the jacket and paddles to ensure efficient heat transfer; check the seals of the steam/thermal oil piping.
5. Annually: Calibrate the temperature and pressure sensors and overload protection device to ensure the emergency shutdown function is functioning properly.
Cleaning Methods
1. Cleaning Dust and Debris: Regularly clean dust and debris from the inside and outside of the paddle dryer, including the paddles, filters, chimney, and piping. Keep the equipment clean and well-ventilated to prevent material blockage and overheating, thereby improving drying efficiency. 2. Cleaning Material Accumulation: Regularly clean the hollow paddle dryer of accumulated material and any material adhering to the inner walls, paddles, and main shaft.
3. Cleaning the Paddle Surface: Use a cleaning brush and detergent to clean the paddle surface. Be careful not to use a harsh brush to prevent scratching.
4. Cleaning the Equipment Surface: Clean the entire exterior of the equipment, including the feed and discharge ports. These areas are prone to material accumulation and require special care when cleaning.
5. Cleaning the Heating System: If the dryer has a heating system, pay special attention when cleaning it. Inspect the heater surface for dust and dirt, then clean it with a clean cloth and detergent. Keeping the heating system clean improves energy efficiency and helps save energy.
6. Cleaning the Control System: Handle the dryer's control system with care, gently wiping the control panel and sensors with a clean cloth to prevent moisture from penetrating and causing damage.
Precautions
1. Safety: Ensure the equipment is shut down and disconnected from the power supply during cleaning to avoid accidents.
2. Choose the right cleaning agent: Select the appropriate cleaning agent based on the surface material and the nature of the deposits to avoid damage.
3. Avoid excessive force: During the cleaning process, exercise caution and avoid using harsh brushes or excessive force to avoid damaging the surface.
4. Regular cleaning: Cleaning is a regular task. We recommend developing a reasonable cleaning schedule based on equipment usage and production process requirements to ensure long-term, stable operation.
