Product Description

The hollow paddle dryer is a horizontal stirring and heat conducting drying equipment that can work continuously. Its mixing blade is like a boat paddle, so it is called a paddle dryer. In foreign countries, it is also called a gap dryer or agitating dryer.

Working principle

The hollow paddle dryer is a continuous indirect heating device for drying (cooling) materials. There are two parallel rotating shafts in the outer casing, in which staggered blades are embedded. Each shaft is staggered with hollow fan-shaped blades at a certain interval, and the shaft enters the hollow rotating shaft and blades through a rotating joint installed at the end of the rotating shaft at a low speed. After heat transfer and drying, the heat medium is discharged from the machine through a rotary joint.
