The beet pulp screw press is a continuous mechanical dewatering machine specially designed for sugar beet pulp. After sugar extraction in sugar mills, wet beet pulp contains high moisture content and is hard to store, transport or process into animal feed. Our screw press removes free water from wet beet pulp through mechanical squeezing, greatly reducing material moisture and cutting subsequent drying cost.
Working Principle
Wet beet pulp is fed into the pressing chamber. A rotating screw shaft pushes the pulp forward continuously. As the volume of the screw cavity gradually shrinks, pressure increases steadily. Water is squeezed out and flows through filter screens, while the dewatered beet pulp is discharged from the outlet. The whole process runs automatically, 24-hour continuous operation available.
